Saunders Dog Ramp DR2 for 4x4's, MPV's and Vans

Our Saunders folding dog ramp, enables dog owners to quickly and safely, manoeuvre even the biggest and heaviest dogs in and out of vehicles.

The DR2 ramp features a special hinge mechanism that – along with a steel frame – gives it the strength to carry animals weighing up to 130kg (285lb). The hinge design also prevents the ramp from sagging in the middle when in use at its full length of 152cm (60in).

The DR2 Dog Ramp features a small step at the end, which allows it to be used with higher vehicles, without increasing the incline. 

In addition to supporting dogs of all sizes, the DR2 is well suited to use by elderly, infirm or injured animals.

Despite its strength, the ramp is among the slimmest on the market, at just 3.5cm (1.4in). The width is 38cm (15in) and the weight 7.5kg (16.5lb).

The walkway is of bonded plywood construction, with a black, water-resistant anti-slip surface to help the dog make its way up and down the ramp. Rubber strips are incorporated on the underside of the ramp at the top end, to protect the rear of the vehicle.

The ramp folds to a compact 84cm×38cm×5cm (33in×5in×2in) for storage, and is fitted with soft webbing handles for easy carrying.
